Story board sketching
The storyboard is the visual blueprint for any animated film. In this course, participants will learn elements of good draughtsmanship, the use of the virtual camera, the art of pitching and the basics of writing for animated films. The emphasis is on practical exercises done digitally, reflecting the professional environment of storyboarding for film and television.
A practical introductory course that focuses on the fundamentals of digital storyboarding. This includes the basics of storyboarding, proper composition, staging for clarity, pitching and critiquing. This is a compulsory course for all animation and drawing students.
