The Shilpa - Chita/Satra course teaches the fundamentals of Shilpa - Chitra or temple art, drawing and aesthetics in accordance with the theory and application of the Shilpa Sastra texts. This course is experiencing a growing revival. Temples remain one of the central pillars for understanding history, culture, civilization, and society. Therefore, for a comprehensive understanding of India's cultural heritage, it is essential to become familiar with various aspects of temples, such as their underlying philosophy, art, design, sculpture, and aesthetics. This course is helpful to better understand the Indian cultural heritage
The course provides a broad audience, including students, researchers, and the general public, with solid assistance in learning the basics of temple art, aesthetics, iconography, and symbolism according to traditional standards.
